Apple Pay now represents 1 in 4 purchases made through Panera’s mobile ordering. PayPal has recently enabled Venmo to facilitate in-app purchases. Amazon, Facebook, Google and others are vying to be the go-to intermediary for making the payment process more frictionless. Should your company embrace one or more of these platforms?

Customer Authentication: Could Biometrics Lead to the Death of Passwords?

Remembering passwords is a pain point for customers and weak passwords are a liability. Biometrics has been in use for some time but has really began to pick up steam with it being built into many smartphones and tablets. Other biometric options include voice and facial recognition. Coupled with a PIN, this authentication process is a better and more secure experience.
